Welcome to Echora (the "Service") operated by Echora. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Echora website, mobile application, and related offerings. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service without parental consent. If you are under 16, you may only use the Service with verified parental consent. By registering you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements.
Echora provides a platform for emotional expression, anonymous one-on-one conversations, curated topic rooms, and optional reflections. Echora is a wellness and connection platform and does not provide professional medical, psychological, or crisis services. If you are in crisis or in need of urgent medical help, contact your local emergency services or a qualified health professional.
To use certain features you may be required to register an account. You agree to (a) provide accurate information; (b) maintain the security of your credentials; and (c) notify Echora immediately of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you submit ("User Content"). By posting User Content you grant Echora a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, and display the content as necessary to operate the Service. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant these licences.
Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data and the rights you have under applicable law.
Certain features may be offered as premium, paid services. Payment terms (billing frequency, cancellation, refunds) will be presented at the point of sale. By purchasing, you authorize recurring charges if stated. All payments are final unless otherwise required by law.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Echora disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Echora and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the amounts you have paid to Echora in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100 if you have not paid for the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service for violations of these Terms or for other reasons at our discretion. You may stop using the Service at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany and applicable EU law where relevant. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in force.
We may update these Terms occasionally. Where required by law we will provide notice. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
